It must be the weather, the Autumnal creative bug that gets me every year, I can't stop designing! At the moment I am revamping old patterns, giving them a fresh new look, and this time I have wallpaper in mind. Homebase sparked this idea off with their wallpaper competition, and it kind of spiralled from there. I love the fact that changing the scale or colour of a pattern can transform it completely, adding texture or taking away certain elements makes it somehow novel and exciting. Oh how I love it!!

These are my latest fat quarters from Spoonflower, and I am so pleased with them! Now I need to get crafty and sew something.

New Collections

"Belle" Copyright Siriol Miller 2013 All Rights Reserved

"Eden" Copyright Siriol Miller 2013 All Rights Reserved

I am very pleased with my new collections, and while both share an overtly retro floral theme, they are intended for totally different market areas. Belle is for women's fashion and accessories, with earthy sophisticated muted tones, and would look great adorning scarfs, bags, dresses, coats and umbrellas. Eden is full of playful cuteness, and is intended for the children's market (girls dresses, hats, bags, bedding etc).

Australian Talent

Inaluxe

Inaluxe

I just can't get enough Inaluxe! There seems to be some majorly talented surface pattern designers in Australia, and  Kristina Sostarko and Jason Odd are prime examples of that major talent! LOVE their retro styled bold prints and paintings.

Ink & Spindle

Totally smitten with Lara Cameron and Tegan Rose (fab names too) of Ink & Spindle. I can totally relate to their passion for screen printing, nothing compares! They are such a talented duo, love their ethical values too.

Umbrella Prints

Amy Prior and Carly Schwerdt are the talent behind Umbrella Prints. I adore their plethora of patterns, lovingly screen printed onto organic fabrics. Yummy!
